Please pray that the Institute would succeed in its efforts to be officially registered in our part of France as a recognized school of continuing professional studies. This would help our students obtain financial aid.
Pray that the Lord would continue to call young men and women to full-time Christian service in France, which needs nearly 1,000 workers. Pray that God would lead these young adults to enroll in our program and trust Him to meet their needs as they study.
Pray that the Lord would lead Mr. and Mrs. Edward Christy as they make plans to join the full-time staff at the Institute. Mrs. Christy is following a treatment for cancer, which is going well, but once that ends they will have to sell their home near Bordeaux before moving to our northeast corner of France.
Our first seminar, aimed at helping active French pastors, was a real success. Fourteen men came from all over France to learn what the Bible and history have to say about the methods used in local church ministry. Discussion was lively as we talked about standards for music, evangelism, leadership training, etc. Interest was high to continue these seminars and Lord willing, we will schedule another one next summer. Pray with us as we select a subject and look for a qualified teacher.
Pray that the Lord would lead qualified professors to join this key ministry in France. We're looking in particular for teachers for our courses in Greek, Theology and Counseling.
